Psychological Affiliates offers comprehensive psychological evaluations and various therapeutic services. Dr. Townsend primarily offers psychological evaluations and limited therapy/counseling interventions. Psychological evaluations are Dr. Townsend’s primary focus due to the significant demand for these services, which results in little availability for him to offer family and individual therapy. If Dr. Townsend does not have availability for therapy/counseling, there are several providers within our practice and others in the community who Dr. Townsend works with frequently. Dr. Townsend will make referrals for various therapies based on the results of the evaluation in order to ensure that areas of need are addressed and to promote optimal progress based on personality and general fit with the patient and provider. In addition to clinicians in his practice, several clinician’s work out of Dr. Townsend’s location that are not directly associated with Psychological Affiliates.
